# Rarity System

In Exordion, we introduced an exciting system of <mark style="color:yellow;">item rarity</mark> that changes the way you interact with the game. Now, every time you defeat a monster, there is a chance to receive special items instead of the common items you are already familiar with. These items can range from uncommon to mythic, with each category representing a greater challenge.

With our item rarity system, customization is virtually endless. Explore the combination of rarity and attributes to create the most powerful and unique items on your path to greatness.

***Enjoy this exciting addition to our server and take your gameplay to a new level with the Item Rarity System.***

### ***Rarity Level***

When defeating a creature, it now has a chance to drop items of varied rarities. Each rarity unlocks a slot to add [attributes](https://exordion.gitbook.io/exordion-wiki/en/systems/rarity-system/enchantments).<br>

### *Item Power*

Each item has an Item Power value, which is determined based on the difficulty of the defeated monster. When inspecting an item, you can see which monster it was obtained from. Attribute values will scale according to the item's Power, which means the stronger the monster, the more powerful the item will be, resulting in higher attribute values.

### Upgrade Level

It is possible to increase the item's upgrade level, making it <mark style="color:yellow;">+1</mark>, <mark style="color:yellow;">+2</mark>, <mark style="color:yellow;">+3</mark>, up to a maximum of <mark style="color:yellow;">+20</mark>. Each increased level improves the item's attack or armor. The higher the level, the more challenging it is to raise it, with the possibility of the level reverting in case of failure. Additionally, each level increases the [Item Power](#item-power)by 10, further enhancing the potential of attribute values. Melee ***two-handed*** weapons have their Item Power increased by **20**.
